By downloading, accessing, or using the ALO Auto mobile application ("App") or website ("Platform"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). Please read them carefully before using our services.

1. Definitions

  • "ALO Auto" refers to the platform operated by ALO TECHNOLOGIES, facilitating ride bookings between users and licensed Auto drivers.
  • "User" means any person using the ALO Auto App to request or book a ride.
  • "Driver" means a verified and registered Auto-Auto driver partnered with ALO Auto.
  • "Services" include booking, matching, fare estimation, and related features provided through the App.

2. User Eligibility & Registration

  • Users must be 18 years or older to use the ALO Auto App.
  • Registration requires valid contact details and compliance with app verification steps.
  • Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials and ensuring accurate account information.

3. Nature of Service

  • ALO Auto is a technology platform, not a transport company.
  • The platform connects users with nearby drivers but does not own or operate Autos.
  • The contract of transport exists directly between the User and the Driver.

4. Booking & Ride Terms

  • Ride requests are shared with available drivers nearby. A booking is confirmed when a driver accepts the request.
  • Users are advised to verify the driver's identity and vehicle details before boarding.
  • The estimated fare is displayed before the ride; final fare may vary slightly due to traffic, route, or waiting time.
  • Users should be present at the pickup location on time. Drivers may cancel if the User is unreachable.

5. Payments & Charges

  • Fares are determined by meter readings, distance, or dynamic pricing based on city transport rules.
  • Payments can be made via cash, wallet, or online payment methods enabled on the app.
  • AppliAutole GST / taxes / convenience fees will be shown before booking.
  • Cancellation fees may apply if the User cancels after driver acceptance.

6. Driver Onboarding & Responsibilities

  • All drivers are verified through government ID, driving license, and background checks.
  • Drivers must comply with all Motor Vehicle Aggregator Guidelines (India) and maintain valid permits.
  • Drivers must ensure their vehicle is clean, roadworthy, and insured.
  • Misconduct, overcharging, or unsafe driving may lead to suspension or delisting.

7. Safety & User Conduct

  • Users are expected to behave respectfully and avoid abusive or unlawful behavior.
  • ALO Auto provides features like GPS tracking, ride-sharing details, and SOS alerts for added safety.
  • Users should not carry illegal substances, flammable items, or engage in activities that endanger the driver.
  • Misuse of safety features or harassment of drivers may lead to account termination.

8. Liability & Disclaimers

  • ALO Auto acts only as an intermediary between User and Driver.
  • The company is not responsible for delays, cancellations, or incidents arising during the ride.
  • In case of accidents, appliAutole insurance coverage (if any) will be as per Motor Vehicles Act and driver's policy.
  • ALO Auto's liability is limited to facilitating refunds or dispute resolution within platform policies.

9. Data Privacy & Usage

  • User data is collected in accordance with the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures) Rules, 2011.
  • Personal details are used solely for service improvement, safety, and operational communication.
  • ALO Auto never sells or shares personal data with third parties without consent, except where required by law.

10. Account Suspension & Termination

  • ALO Auto reserves the right to suspend or terminate any User or Driver account for policy violations or fraudulent activity.
  • Users may deactivate their account anytime through the App.
  • Any pending payments or legal obligations will survive termination.

11. Dispute Resolution

  • Disputes between Users and Drivers should first be reported through the in-app support system.
  • Unresolved issues may be escalated to local transport authorities or arbitration as per Indian law.
  • These Terms are governed by the laws of India and subject to jurisdiction of courts in Osmanabad, Maharashtra.

12. Updates to Terms

ALO Auto reserves the right to amend or update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the app and will take effect upon posting. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
